Janailah
Janailah is an empowerment company established in 1997. The company offers social care, business mentoring, coaching and training to organisations and professionals in the social work/social care arena. The company also offers support to disadvantaged children and young people.
The Social care arm of the company provides residential services for young people coming through the care system. Our registered Children’s Home, Nailah House was established at the end of 2000 and provides care and accommodation to young women age 13+ years and upwards.
Proprietor / CEO Profile
Our founder Jenny Lapompe is an entrepreneur and highly qualified professional with over 38 years experience of developing and managing services in the public, private and voluntary sector. She holds a Degree in Social Science, a Diploma in Social Work, a Diploma in Management Studies, a Certificate in Youth & Community Development, a Practice Teaching Award and a Certificate in life and Executive Coaching and a certificate in Emotional Change Therapy (ECT).
Jenny has worked in public service organisations for many years and has managed services up to senior levels. An experience trainer and lecturer, Jenny has taught at degree level on the subject of Management in Health and Social Service and has facilitated training programmes across a range of management, social work and social welfare topics. Jenny can also boast a background in youth justice work, probation work, counselling and group work. Her work on the subject of management in Social Services was published by Macmillan’s in 1994.
Through Janailah Ltd, which she found in 1997, Jenny provides coaching, mentoring and training to entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals. She is also available for public speaking.
